SCOPE OF WORK
* The City of El Monte, Department of Public Works, is seeking a consultant to provide design services for improvements to the El Monte Civic Center parking lot. Project includes: 1) redesign of pedestrian pathways with landscaping addition; 2) redesign of the parking layout, including segregation for different users; 3) parking shade structure with solar panels; 4) opportunity for an underground stormwater infiltration basin; 5) electric vehicle charging stations; 6) replacement of marquee sign; 7) addition of an overall wayfinding signage program; 8) opportunity for plaza area addition; 9) electrical vehicle charging stations; and 10) employee walking track. Required work includes surveying, community outreach, and environmental clearance.
